Upgrading to a bigger, better, or more recent version of Cadgraphics software is easy. Read this page for details, or call us toll-free at (866) 665-2100.

Upgrade to a Bigger System

You can expand your Cadgraphics system — and monitor more alarms and devices — simply by paying the difference in package price. It's easy to move from a Cadgraphics 50, for example, to a Cadgraphics 250, or 500, or 10,000. Again, you won't pay full price: you'll simply pay the difference in price between the two packages.

Upgrade to a Better System

You can enhance and improve your existing Cadgraphics system with two new features:

Add e-mail notification. For $1,000, you can have Cadgraphics automatically notify your staff and service company when alarm and/or trouble conditions occur in your alarm system. Using Cadgraphics zones and groups, you can selectively pre-determine who will be automatically be notified by creating an associated list of e-mail addresses to be notified. Separate lists can be created for a trouble within a zone as opposed to an actual alarm.
Work with a Microsoft SQL database. For an additional $5,000, you can now make your Cadgraphics database SQL. Standard Cadgraphics systems rely on a Microsoft Access 2000 database, which works well for individuals and workgroups who manage megabytes of data. For large-scale systems, however, a Microsoft SQL database offers a number of advantages, including scalability, vastly increased storage capacity, and enhanced security.

Upgrade to the Most Recent Version

The latest version of Cadgraphics software, introduced in May 2005, features new features and benefits that will make your Cadgraphics system better than ever before.

New Version 2.4 includes these great features:

A new search function, so you can quickly find devices by entering descriptive words and phrases. If you want to find every alarm or device associated with your lobby, for example, simply run a search with the word "lobby." (With older versions of Cadgraphics, you would have to page down through your device lists and find each search term on your own.)

A new "total" indicator, which will show you the total number of active alarms and troubles in your system. If you have a large Cadgraphics system, with hundreds or thousands of alarms and devices, you'll be able to spot at a glance when there's a change in overall status.

Enhanced printing capabilities; with the latest version of Cadgraphics, you can print on a wider range of paper sizes — or even on plotters.

Ability to enable SQL.
